SerialForge Privacy

SerialForge is designed around author-owned projects, drafts, notes, story bibles, platform copy, and reader-growth data. This page summarizes the privacy expectations for the validation site.

Author workspace data

A fiction workspace can include drafts, outlines, character profiles, worldbuilding notes, timelines, publishing links, reader-page settings, and generated Markdown exports.

Validation site data

The public site uses analytics to understand page visits, CTA clicks, tool-preview usage, and traffic quality. The current preview tools run in the browser and let authors copy or download their own generated Markdown.

Author control principle

Story memory should help the author keep control of continuity, revision, and publishing decisions. Drafts and notes should be portable and understandable outside the product.

Email and contact

If an author sends an early-access email or support request, the contact details and message content are used to respond and learn which workflows matter most.

Before accounts and billing

A fuller legal privacy policy should be published before account creation, payments, imports, hosted drafts, subscriber capture, or team collaboration go live.

AI usage expectation

Any future AI workflow should be clear about which story context is sent to model providers and should avoid using private drafts in ways the author did not request.
